"Dollhome" is a one-off piece that I created as part of my interdisciplinary practice project. I had never delved into sculpture or miniatures previously, but I felt that this project was a good opportunity to try something new! I created an interactive dollhouse designed for viewers to play and adjust, projecting their own lives onto the space. The work unpacked complicated feelings about homere, relying on nostalgia and second-hand materials to create a safe and comfortable space. The basement space remains dark and dingy, left mostly empty to allow the viewers to place their choice of furniture. This piece was displayed at the Bank Vault in Aberystwyth as part of the "To be Loved" exhibition.
