"Still learning life" is my current painting project. The title refers to both my ambitions to learn more about still life and improve my skills, and also to unpack difficult emotions through the medium of sentimental objects. Whether these objects have positive or negative associations, I use play, colour and storytelling to recontextualise them into magical, childlike stories and scenes. This project is ongoing, with my two main, large scale paintings being "Scurry's Magic Garden" and "Cabbage's Sleepy tea party"
