About this project

"Unstaged" is a short series of paintings worked from photographs taken of me and my loved ones without their knowledge. These paintings depict special, authentic moments in my closest relationships, and I was especially grateful that those around me took candid photographs which I could turn into paintings. These works were made on cardboard and paper, using scrap materials that I found around me.
