About this project

"The morning" is simply a painting project where I attempted to capture the morning! This 2025 project is what led on to my interests drawing teddies, trinkets and cosy scenes. Some of the paintings in this project reference slow, quiet moments with my partner in the morning, while others show my bed in its undisturbed state. I was forced to really slow my mornings down and find time to create still life paintings before the day began.
